If you have
questions for the Building Inspectors their office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., Monday - Friday. The field inspections will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The 2009 Michigan Building/Residential, Rehabilitation and Energy Code Rules were filed with the Secretary of State on November 8, 2010, and become effective March 9, 2011. The rules provide the latest standards to protect the health and promote the safety and welfare of the people by regulating the construction, reconstruction and alteration of buildings within the state.
