If you have questions for the Building Inspectors their office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Monday - Friday.  The field inspections will be conducted from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Beginning in April 2010, contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 must be certified and must follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.

 

  • LOCAL TRAINING:  The Little Traverse Association of Home Builders have organized lead-certified training courses to be held in Petoskey.  Please refer to their website or call 231-348-9770 for dates and registration information.
