PUBLIC AND PRIVATE UTILITIES (CRA 100)
- Overhead and Underground - $200.00
- Utility Service Connection (same side of main line) - $150.00

ANNUAL UTILITY PERMITS (CRA 100)
$250.00 - For maintenance purposes and single service longitudinal connections that do not require digging in road base or shoulders.
If the Road Commission determines that inspection of a project is necessary above what is covered by the permit fee, inspection Fees will be charges at a rate of $50.00 per hour. Estimated inspection fees shall be paid prior to issuance of the permit.
STATE TRUNKLINE RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMITS
State trunkline highway right-of-way permit fee schedule depends on permit type. Information on these permits can be obtained online at the Michigan Department of Transportation Website or call the MDOT North Region Office at (989) 731-5090
PURPOSE: To permit Oversize and Overweight loads on the Cheboygan County Road System. The permit is issued for the power unit (Cab) for any combination towed behind subject to state law and the CRAM Rules for Movement of Oversize or Overweight Vehicles and Loads.

MOBILE HOMES & BUILDINGS

An inspection fee may be required for Super Move Transportation Permits. The amount of the fee will be determined by the anticipated cost of the inspection for the permit.
SEASONAL WEIGHT RESTRICTION PERMITS
Bonding may be required at the discretion of the Road Commission for special permits issued during the Seasonal Weight Restriction Period. The Road Commission reserves the right to alter the requested route(s). Permits may be denied at the discretion of the Road Commission.

Bonds (Bonding in the form of an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certified Check, Money Order, or Cash. Deposit may be required at the discretion of the Road Commission for the Roads used for Permits allowing movement of unrestricted loads during the Seasonal Weight Restriction Period.)

Private Road Signs
The Cheboygan County Road Commission may install private road name signs requested by a Township or Individual for a fixed fee. The fee shall be based on cost for time and materials, assuming one (1) hour to install. Applicant will be required to provide documentation from GIS Equalization the correct name and spelling of the private road. The administrative staff shall periodically review cost of time and materials and make necessary adjustments to keep the fee current.
Private road signs can be requested on the below form. The cost is $160.00* for the sign and materials to install and installation of the private road sign. The attached form must be completed by applicant, taken to the Cheboygan County GIS Office (at the Cheboygan County Building) for approval. Once signed by GIS, the signed form and check for $160.00*, payable to the Cheboygan County Road Commission, should be submitted to our offices at 5302 S. Straits Highway, Indian River, Michigan 49749 for processing.

SMALL WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONSFACILITIES PERMITS
PURPOSE: To provide permits for the installation, construction and maintenance of Small Wireless Communication Facilities within Right-of-way under the jurisdiction of the Cheboygan County Road Commission.
A. New Small Cell Wireless Facilities Permit for each stand alone small cell facility
B. New Small cell Wireless Facilities and New Pole Permit for each pole or support structure
