NOTICE OF CLOSEOUT PUBLIC HEARING
FOR MICHIGAN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDING FOR URGENT NEED GRANT 223005-UN

Cheboygan County will conduct a closeout public hearing on Tuesday, March 10^th, 2026 at 9:30 A.M. at The Cheboygan County Building Board of Commissioners Meeting Room located at 870 South Main St. Cheboygan MI 49721 for the purpose of affording citizens an opportunity to submit comments and receive a final report on the completion of the Urgent Need CDBG grant 223005-UN.

The CDBG grant provided funding to assist in providing emergency portable generators to (9) Nine non-profit organizations for use during emergencies to serve the public at various locations within Cheboygan County.   The CDBG project benefitted at least 51% low to moderate income persons; No persons were displaced as a result of the project.

Interested parties are invited to comment on the project in person at the public hearing or in writing through Tuesday, March 10, 2026 and addressed to Jeff Lawson, Cheboygan County Administrator 870 South Main St. Cheboygan MI 49721.

Citizen views and comments on the CDBG project are welcome.
