CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS

The Cheboygan County Sheriff Department assigns a full time Lieutenant to investigate serious felony crimes against persons and property.  The Detective Lieutenant works in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies and the Cheboygan County Prosecutor’s Office aiding victims and bringing forth investigations to the courts.

SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER

The School Resource Officer is assigned to the Cheboygan and Wolverine School Districts to assist in intervention, education and investigating criminal matters involving the students.  The SRO works closely with school administrators, local law enforcement agencies, the Cheboygan County Prosecutor’s Office and the Probate Court to resolve issues as it pertains to the well-being of students.

The SRO is available 24/7 seven days a week by cell phone to students and families.  Do not think the matter is of no importance or can wait; call, text or email.
