Cheboygan County is beginning the process of updating its long-range vision through the 2026 Master Plan Update. This important effort will guide future land use, community development, and resource protection across the County.

The Master Plan update will involve gathering public input, reviewing current trends and conditions, and identifying shared priorities for the future of Cheboygan County. Residents, businesses, community organizations, and other stakeholders are encouraged to follow the planning process and participate as the plan develops.

A Master Plan Advisory Group, made up of community members and local partners, is working alongside the Cheboygan County Planning Commission to help gather input, explore ideas, and shape a shared vision for the County’s future.
