WHAT IS BEAD?
A: The Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program is a federal grant intended to expand access to high-speed internet by funding planning, infrastructure deployment, and adoption programs.

Who: Residents with unreliable or slow Internet or no Internet access.
What & Why: Submit a challenge, improve the map, and unlock BEAD funding for your community.
When: April 2024 (anticipated state challenge window).
